Sideway is a bar and live music venue situated in the heart of Canberra, that just like many of its predecessors, has closed its doors. Sideway was a place of belonging, where friendships were made, incredible music was shared, and all were welcome. Through this short documentary, discover the profound impact one venue can have on a community.

This event is to celebrate the people that made this venue come to life, and for the Canberra music scene to connect. This event will hold a screening, and will be a community event for musicians, gig-lovers, and people in the industry, to mingle and celebrate.

The screening will start at 7:30pm. Drinks will be available to purchase from Juliet Bar, and mingling will take place before and after the screening itself. There are food options available at Verity Lane Market located on the ground floor.
