Don't miss out on the chance to show off your smarts and contribute to a good cause. We can't wait to see you there! Thankyou for supporting the girls who are part of the schools Operation Flinders Team.
Operation Flinders is an adventure therapy program with a mission to transform young people’s lives through evidence-based remote outback intervention. This program allows youth to experience an immersive time in the Northern Flinders Ranges in a wilderness setting. Operation Flinders has been established for over 30 years and is a well-regarded and successful intervention initiative.
10 girls from Year 9 and 10 at Goolwa Secondary College have been selected to form our team. Through the power of immersive experiential learning, and being in a remote setting outside of their comfort zones, the girls will have an opportunity to work as a team, show resilience and strength as they experience challenge and hardship and have moments to look deeper into themselves, discovering who they are now, and who they want to become.
