PEPA aims to improve health professionals’ knowledge, skills and confidence in the palliative approach to care and end of life care.
Program Objective:
PEPA aims to improve health professionals’ knowledge, skills and confidence in the palliative approach to care for people with a life-limiting illness.
The workshops are interactive and provide time for discussion (some aspects of the program may change due to circumstances beyond our control).
Intended workshop audience: ALL clinicians regardless of their palliative care experience working within the Central Coast Local Health District catchment area.
Topics include: Death literacy; Ten things to know before you die; understanding definitions & concepts; exploring grief myths; grief reactions; grieving styles; grief & bereavement theories.

- An email confirming registration to attend will be sent from HUMANITIX to participants advising that registration has been successful.
- Please note, places are limited and registration is essential.
- TICKET issued in 'good faith' that you meet the necessary criteria/target group for this session. Those not meeting the criteria/target group will be contacted by PEPA/IPEPA NSW to cancel their ticket.
