Governance Bytes Workshop Series

Governance Bytes are a series of workshops where we take a deeper dive into topics relevant for those who have some governance experience under their belt.

On these virtual, live workshops with LEAD NFP governance experts you will learn with and from others on Boards, ask relevant questions and apply what you are learning in the real world of your not for profit organisation.

Participants receive a certificate on completion of five out of the six sessions in each series. Book a single session for $59 +GST, or sign up for the series of six workshops for $295 plus GST.

If finance is a barrier please contact us as we have some scholarship funding available. 

Enrolled participants may substitute another member of their organisation if they can’t attend

You will learn about: Strategies for dealing with difficult personalities including how to get an ineffective Board member to move on. 

Governance Bytes #3: Being the Boss 
When: 6:15pm-7:45pm, Tuesday 25 May 
You will learn about: Being a good employer, including performance appraisals, conversations about accountability and managing your manager. 

Governance Bytes #4: Painting the Big Picture 
When: 6:15pm-7:45pm, Tuesday 22 June 
You will learn about: What strategy looks like in the real world; how to think strategically and how you can make a greater impact by leading with strategy. 

Governance Bytes #5: Rules of Engagement 
When: 6:15pm-7:45pm, Tuesday 27 July 
You will learn about: The 3 Ps - policies, procedures and plans. What exactly are policies and why are they important to your organisation. =

Governance Bytes #6: Cheering on the Chairs 
When: 6:15pm-7:45pm, Tuesday 24 August 
You will learn about: Tools, tactics and tips for Board Chairs including advice on creating a framework for building better Board engagement.
