ECCQ and Cairns Regional Council has partnered to deliver a practical workshop on governance and leadership in community organisations.

This session will introduce the fundamentals of good governance and explore the roles, responsibilities, and practices that help organisations operate effectively and sustainably.

What to expect:

  • Key principles of governance

  • The basics of responsibilities in organisational leadership

  • Good governance practices

  • Strategies for building strong and sustainable organisations

Who should attend: Anyone interested in learning more about governance, leadership, and effective organisational practices, including community members, volunteers, committee and board members, and staff from community organisations.
