Government Reporting Special Interest Group 1/2025
Event description
LIVE WEBINAR
Facilitator: Don Johnston, AAIR Government Reporting SIG Chair
We are happy to welcome you to an interactive session (emphasis being on 'interactive' from those able to attend) to discuss some topics in the Government Reporting space.
We invite you to come along and ask questions or simply attend to get a sense of what is currently topical, whether TCSI, AVETMISS, SDR, or anything else.
New arrivals to AAIR or Government Reporting are particularly welcome, even if only to put a face to the name, or to find a name to reach out to in the future when you have a question and you're not sure who to turn to. This is what AAIR is about – making connections and finding and supporting our community.
Two topics that will initiate the discussions are (but definitely not restricted to):
- HEP Student Data Verification 2024
Phew ... we have just survived the latest round of Student Data Verification! Hopefully it was not too traumatic! We would like to provide an opportunity for a de-brief on the process. What worked? What helped? What were the pitfalls? Basically, anything you would like to share about your respective journeys. - New Gender Codes for Element 315 to be reported in 2026
How is everyone going implementing these new codes? It is not only relevant for the student collection, but also for the staff collection too. What about the TAC data, survey data, Australian Government Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS) data, and I am sure many other places.
We have only 1 hour to discuss these and other topics, so come along and join in the conversation. We will make a start on discussing these pressing issues, but rest assured, we are planning another session sometime in the second half of the year. Please let us know what other burning topics you would like to discuss in a future session.
