Event description

GPAN’s Annual Trivia Night Fundraiser

The Good People Act Now (GPAN) project is excited to invite community members, friends, family, and partners to our Annual Trivia Night Fundraiser!

📅 When: Friday, November 14, 2025
Time: From 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
📍 Where: Banksia Gardens Community Services, 71–81 Pearcedale Parade, Broadmeadows 3047
💰 Cost: $50, $40, $30, $20 or $10 – tiered, pay-what-you-can

All proceeds go toward the Eurydice Dixon Gender Equality Champions Award (EDGECA) — a scholarship recognising a local young person who is actively championing gender equality. The EDGECA was created by GPAN’s Youth Action Group in 2018 in memory of Eurydice Dixon, and this year’s recipient will be announced on the night.

On the night you can expect:
🎶 Live performances from talented local young artists
🧠 Engaging (and competitive!) trivia questions
🎟️ Heaps of raffle + trivia prizes to win
🍔 Tasty food & drinks to keep you fuelled
👕 GPAN merch to take home

💛 Can’t make it but still want to support? Donations over $2 are tax deductible and go directly to supporting GPAN’s work in gender equality and violence prevention.

For more information, visit our website.

🎟 General Admission (Pay-What-You-Can):
We want everyone in our community to be able to join the fun, so tickets are priced on a pay-what-you-can basis. You choose the amount that works best for you – $50, $40, $30, or $10 – and every ticket gives you full access to the night’s trivia, entertainment, food, and prizes.

Your contribution, big or small, helps support GPAN’s work to promote gender equality and prevent gender-based violence. By coming along, you’re not only having a great night out – you’re also helping to create a safer, more equal community.

This event is proudly supported by Banksia Gardens Community Services and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.
