Grad Student Colloquium with Matej Jungwirth and Neonila Glukhodid
Description
Join us for lunch and a conversation with Matej Jungwirth and Neonila Glukhodid. Matej and Neonila are doctoral candidates in Political Science, whose joint paper "Returning to the Past? Typology of Decision-Making of Ukrainian Forced Migrants in Czech Republic and Germany" was published in Fragmented Lives in Times of War this year. They will discuss the sometimes puzzling nature of refugee return in the wake of war, and especially in the case of Ukrainians, for whom return comes in the midst of an ongoing conflict, characterized, among other things, by widespread airstrikes on civilian infrastructure.
Please note that 720 University Place is not an ADA-accessible space. Increasing physical access to buildings and facilities is a goal of the University, but not all buildings and venues have been updated.
