Graduation is just the beginning – take the Grand Tour to explore culture & wisdom at Nan Tien Temple. Set intentions and mark new beginnings as you explore this spiritual landmark with a Guided Tour tailored for UOW graduates. Ring the giant Gratitude Bell from Flagstaff Hill, breathe in the panoramic views, discover the significance of the place, and enjoy delicious vegetarian foods, coffee and a range of teas at our Tea House or at the Arts Cafe.

Celebrate graduation week with an enriching cultural experience at the largest Buddhist temple in the Southern Hemisphere as Wollongong welcomes over 10,000 visitors during this special week. Whether you're visiting for a loved one’s graduation or discovering the region for the first time, a guided tour of Nan Tien Temple offers a moment of reflection, beauty, and insight. You might be dipping your toes into Buddhism or curious to explore other world perspectives, this tour focuses on intercultural exchanges.

Enjoy delicious vegetarian foods, coffee and a range of teas at the Tea House or at the Arts Cafe. No reservations.

Tour Details

  • When: Tuesday 15 July to Friday 18 July 2025

  • Daily Sessions: 11:00AM.

  • Meet: 10.50AM outside the tea house, ground level.

  • Duration: Approximately 90 minutes

  • Group Size: Limited to just 25 guests per session

  • Booking: Essential via Humanitix, spots will fill fast! Tours require a minimum of 7 people to run. We'll be in touch if numbers aren’t met for a refund or alternative booking.
