The Grand Final features our top six brilliant talents from the field of 30 who made it through the rigorous selection process and then the two exhilarating days of semi-finals.

Watch them vie for a prize package worth over $20,000 and the chance to perform live with the Auckland Philharmonia.

This year’s event sees the partnering of New Zealand icons:
- The National String Competition, presented by the Hill Family Foundation for Arts and Music and
- The Lewis Eady National Piano Competition
Both competitions have an important role in propelling the careers of New Zealand’s young musical talents, many of whom will go on to achieve outstanding success here in Aotearoa and across the planet.
