Grandparents Day Liturgy + Morning Tea 2026

In 2026, students from ELC to Year 6 will unite to celebrate Grandparents' Day on Monday 26 October. Our deep gratitude and love for grandparents spans all generations, creating a special moment for our community to honour these extraordinary role models who share their wisdom, guidance and unconditional love throughout life’s many journeys.

To mark the day, we warmly invite all Blackfriars grandparents to join us, along with their children, for a liturgy at 9am in the Neill Gymnasium. Following the liturgy, Grandparents and students will gather for a morning tea in Frassati Hall, provided by our amazing Parents & Friends Association. From 10:30am onwards, Grandparents have the opportunity to accompany their grandchildren back to their classrooms to visit their learning spaces. The morning will conclude at 11am.
