Grant Writing Basics

MAV is hosting a grant writing workshop, facilitated by our partners at Auspicious Arts. 

This workshop is a valuable opportunity to enhance your grant writing skills by learning what funders seek, ultimately increasing your chances of securing funding. You'll also get the chance to meet other artists, and a space to ask questions. While this workshop isn't tied to a specific grant round, it's an excellent time to start preparing for future applications.

• Support Materials: Understand the types of supplementary materials that can strengthen your proposal. 
• The Budget: Gain insights into creating a comprehensive and convincing budget for your project. 
• Auspicing: Understand the concept of auspicing and its role in the grant application process. 

Miriam from MAV will share information about MAV’s auspicing service and the types of support we offer as well. There will also be time for some questions, having a cuppa and meeting the other artists in the room!
