Grant Writing Practicalities Part 3: Writing grant applications as a team
Event description
This event is the third in our four-part series for 2025 on writing applications for research funding. The series is designed to build confidence and share practical tips useful in grant writing, irrespective of funder.
Team research is increasing. Join us for a panel discussion on the implications this can have for grant writing.
We’ll explore issues such as making multiple voices in the grant application sing as one; the practicalities of sharing the writing, and the time it takes. We’ll consider how you ‘project’ the writing and how to make best use of support coming from outside the research team. When would you bring in a facilitator to help collaborators reach agreement on a program of research and its structure? Is generative AI a player on the team for writing grant applications?
Who should attend:
- ECRs
- Research support professionals
- Anyone interested in making the most of team effort and diverse perspectives to enhance their grant writing.
Why attend?
