This workshop will cover:
Researching and understanding which grants suit you.
Registration on digital grant portals.
Tailoring Capability Statements to include in grant applications.
Keeping up-to-date with information that your target funders share online, industry news and key government policy initiatives (net zero, local procurement).
Eligibility requirements and how to find them.
How to get your grant application noticed.
Managing the administrative requirements of a grant.
Setting up systems to make grant acquittal reporting easier.

About the Presenter:
Susan is a corporate affairs and business management professional with a breadth of experience across multiple countries and industries. She has spent many years in leadership roles as part of senior leadership teams, and specialising in strategic corporate affairs issues as well as developing communications, local content and government relations strategies. Susan has expertise in solving complex problems and engaging with stakeholders to develop a good result for every party.
This workshop is presented in partnership with the Christmas Island and Cocos (Keeling) Islands Community Resource Centres (CRCs), the Christmas Island Business Association (CIBA), the Indian Ocean Group Training Association (IOGTA), and the Indian Ocean Territories Regional Development Organisation (IOT RDO).
