Successful grant writing for community organisations - Murwillumbah (targeted for incorporated community-based organisations)
Event description
Strengthen your grant writing skills and boost your community organisation's chances of success.
This free capacity-building workshop is offered to not-for-profit community organisations in the Tweed Shire
to strengthen their skills in grant applications—both for Community grants | Tweed Shire Council and other funding opportunities.
Rather than rushing into an application, this workshop introduces a structured framework to help you take a more strategic and effective approach—one that can be applied across a wide range of funding opportunities.
You’ll learn how to build on your organisation’s strengths, clearly communicate your project’s value, and position your group for funding success.
What's covered:
What information you'll need before starting your application
Aligning your project to funding priorities
Determining if a grant is the right fit for your project
Articulating your project’s community benefits
Finding evidence to support your case
Navigating eligibility criteria and guidelines
Budget preparation and financial planning
Grant conditions and acquittal processes
Tips for evaluating your project outcomes
Common pitfalls and how to avoid them
Whether you're just starting out or want to refine your skills, this workshop will leave you more confident and better prepared to secure funding for your organisation.
