House and Garden Tour #2 Announced.
Come and visit my Sacred Urban Permaculture Homestead in Alfredton, VIC.
12 months ago we built our Energy Efficient Home, incorporating Passive Solar Design and Permaculture Principles.
Since then I've been hard at work in the garden, creating something quite sacred.
We grow a lot of Organic produce using BioDynamic methods, A cottage garden has been established at the front to attract lots of pollinators and birds, and we also have verge gardens for the same reasons.
We also have an EV and large solar panel system. Therefore our bills have been almost $0 during the course of the last 12 months.
We also have a large underground water tank (33KL) which feeds into our house and garden.
I hope to share with you our lifestyle and information about what is working, what hasn't worked and also how this helps me and my family live a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle.
I am also a Holistic Health Practitioner and Yoga Teacher and so you may also learn about some self-care and mindfulness practices that I do myself at home and in the garden and get ideas on things you can do to improve your mental and physical health.
