This course is designed to be a hands-on, practical and seasonal exploration of Herbal Medicine.
The nature of the course is determined by the garden itself, as you'll learn how to harvest, dry and prepare plant material to fill a Herbal dispensary.
This will take place in The Perma Pixie's Herbal Studio and is limited to 3 people, being an intimate and personal workshop, where you will have the opportunity to ask questions and have Taj pay particular attention to your learning and evolution as a budding Grassroots Herbalist.
Learn:
- What time of year to harvest particular plants
- Proper harvesting and drying techniques
- How to powder herbs for storage and to use in drinks and capsules
- How to prepare plants for particular remedies

- Herbal Infused Oils
- Herbal Tinctures
- Herbal Salves
- Herbal Vinegars
- Herbal Body Care Products
- Herbal Cleaning products
- Candles & Incense
- Distillation of Herbs into Hydrosols and Essential Oils

Activities will include making bulk medicines, packaging and labelling.
You will receive your own Herbal Medicine folder with recipes and info, plus a bag to take your own medicines home each week!
This is a limited experience, a fluid exchange of The Perma Pixie's time in between clinic practice and Medicinal farming.
