Description

Join Hunter and North West Local Land Services for Graze and Grow - Making Every Acre Count, an afternoon of conversations, ideas and practical examples from local landholders and businesses who are finding new ways to make the most of their land.

Event details:

Spend a spring afternoon at the beautiful Graze Inn, Willow Tree, exploring a range of small-farm enterprises from across the North West and Hunter regions.

Chat with producers, hear their stories, and connect with Local Land Services staff about the support, programs and advice available for your property.

Hosted by Paul West and Brett Cooper, the afternoon will feature producer spotlights, practical discussions and plenty of opportunities to pick up ideas you can take home and apply to your own place.

This event shines a light on enterprises beyond traditional cattle, sheep and cropping.

Introducing our hosts:

  • Paul West is the co-founder of Grow It Local, a food grower, storyteller and passionate advocate for regional Australia. Many will know him as the host of River Cottage Australia, as well as an ABC contributor and author of The River Cottage Australia Cookbook.

  • Brett Cooper, from Limestone Permaculture, works with landholders and communities to create productive, resilient and sustainable properties through permaculture and regenerative farming practices.

Together, Paul and Brett bring a wealth of practical experience, plenty of great stories and a genuine passion for helping people get more from their farm.
