Global urea supplies are currently fragile, with key suppliers exporting lower volumes year-on-year, creating a ripple effect for Australian importers, Australia imports approximately 90% of its fertiliser, with urea accounting for nearly half of total imports. Prices are expected to remain elevated in 2025 due to geopolitical events and global supply shocks.
