Online Event
Description
Registration for the livestream event is free. The recording will be uploaded to the GRDC website, past events page to view at a later date.
Dale Grey, Agriculture Victoria
El Niño is back in the headlines, but what does it really mean for grain growers? Dale will explain how the El Niño Southern Oscillation influences Australian growing conditions, unpacks the term “super El Niño”, and discusses whether stronger events necessarily mean greater production risk. Dale will explore what past El Niño events have meant for key grain-growing regions and how growers can use that information to support decision-making. The session will conclude with an update on the current three-month climate outlook and key signals to watch.
