Event description

Welcome to Rydell High’s senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding “T-Birds” and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking “Pink Ladies” in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950’s in this rollicking musical.

Featuring the talented young actors from Glass Ceiling Arts Collective's Inclusive Youth Theatre programme in South Auckland.

A celebration of youth talent with and without disabilities Glass Ceiling's youth production of the world's best-loved musical hits the Off Broadway Theatre in Papakura in August, performed by a cast aged from 7 to 21.

After a whirlwind summer romance, leather-clad greaser Danny and girl-next-door Sandy are unexpectedly reunited when she transfers to Rydell High for senior year. But can they survive the trials and tribulations of teenage life and find true love once more?

Bursting with hits including Summer Nights, Greased Lightnin’, Hopelessly Devoted to You and You’re the One That I Want, this exciting youth production has been specially adapted for younger performers and a younger audience. It's jam-packed full of energetic choreography, stunning costumes, and beautiful vocals.

Grease Young@Part arrives at the Off Broadway Theatre on Friday 1st August to Sunday 3rd August. It's the one that you want - so don’t miss out!
