Event description

When you are making changes in your career the 'What?' of your career looms large. What are you wanting to do and what steps will you take to help you get there.

Yet, there's another question that is vital...  it's 'Who?'

Connections, and the networks they are part of, are the lifeblood of your career. Especially when you are making a career transition or seeking a new job.

But it's quite often the part that people feel a bit 'icky' about. 'Networking' can sound superficial, and even slimy to some. Understandably so! (that's why I prefer to use the term Connecting).

There are many ways to connect with people for your career. Great connections happen by honing your skills, tapping into your natural strengths and taking action.

This workshop will:- invigorate your resolve to get better at cultivating career connections- help you realise YOUR best ways of connecting- provide you with tools to help you connect in fun and relaxed ways- give you mini-scripts as openers for in-person and online connection- expand your network (and possibly, your mind!)

Come with your questions, pen and note paper and your favourite beverage, of course! We'll be diving in and connecting in the workshop - it will be encouragingly participative.

I can't wait to see you and help you create Great Connections!

Best wishes
Lois
