Youth Retreat "The Great Wake Up Call"
Description
🌟 THE GREAT WAKE-UP CALL
Stop Chasing. Start Discovering. Start Living.
Chinmaya Mission Brisbane invites you to join us for our Annual Youth (CHYK) Retreat with Swami Shrikarananadaji
ABOUT THE RETREAT
We spend so much of our lives chasing success, money, recognition, relationships, experiences and the approval of others.
But where does all this chasing take us?
Bhaja Govindam gives us a powerful wake-up call. Through these verses, Adi Shankaracharyaji challenges us to look beyond the endless pursuit of
things that are temporary and discover what truly gives life meaning. The great master pushes us to think Why do we do what we do? He asks us to
question the intentions of our thoughts, words, deeds.
The world will always offer us something more to chase.
But will it ever be enough?
These verses invite us to pause, question our priorities and recognise the fleeting nature of life. Instead of being caught endlessly in the pursuit of the
next achievement, the next possession or the next experience, we are encouraged to turn within and discover a deeper source of fulfilment.
The goal is not to run away from life.
It is to wake up and learn how to live it wisely.
✨ Stop Chasing.
✨ Start Discovering.
✨ Start Living.
Because when we discover what truly matters, we stop being driven by the world—and begin living with clarity, purpose and freedom.
