Join us for the first ever Greater Bunbury Youth Mental Health Forum! A free event created to empower and support young people in our community. Open to Year 10-12 students and their teachers, this event offers an engaging mix of expert talks, interactive workshops, and hands-on activities that provide practical strategies for mental health and wellbeing.

What to Expect:

  • Inspiring Speakers: Learn from youth mental health professionals and advocates, including:
    • Vince Umbers from Zero2Hero, presenting “Love Yourself” and sharing strategies for staying mentally healthy.
    • Kendall Whyte from Blue Tree Project, sharing her personal story and insights on suicide prevention.
    • Penny White from headspace Bunbury, leading a self-care workshop with tips for maintaining mental health.
    • Brayden Ainsworth from Happiness Co., focusing on school culture and the importance of happiness in building resilience.
  • Interactive Breaks, Lunch, and Booths: Throughout the day, students will have the chance to connect with local mental health organisations, explore resources, and engage in hands-on activities. Lunch will be provided, with interactive areas to encourage students to unwind and enjoy the experience.

This forum is a unique opportunity for students to connect with their peers and learn valuable skills for managing mental health and navigating life’s challenges. Spaces are limited, so register now to secure a spot for your school!

Note: The event coordinator would be happy to meet with you in the lead up to the event to support your attendance where we can.
