Our Speakers Tori Dixon-Whittle, CEO, Food SA Tori Dixon-Whittle is a visionary leader with over 30 years of success across manufacturing, tourism, arts, and education. She has founded and scaled multiple ventures, driving transformation and innovation nationally and abroad. A former Vice-President of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, Tori has strengthened Australia–Asia trade ties and led impactful cultural initiatives. Now CEO of Food South Australia, she champions the state’s global leadership in food and beverage. A Governor’s Leadership Foundation alumna, she also serves on the Royal Horticultural Society’s Agrifood and Commerce Committee, empowering industry growth through strategic insight and sustainable innovation.Â
Jonathan Middis, Business Development and Innovation Manager, End Food Waste Australia Jonathan is an expert in innovation and growth in the food and beverage industry. He has more than 25years experience in new product development spanning global food multinationals to local start-ups and has overseen the launch of more than a thousand products during that time spanning nearly every aisle of the supermarket. He returned to Australia in 2022 to drive new business development with the team at End Food Waste Australia, searching for innovative solutions to create value from food waste streams. He loves finding solutions and getting stuff done, believes that it is amazing what can happen over a cup of coffee and passionately avoids waste in all its forms.Â
Jessica Wundke, Manager Policy Reform, Green Industries SA Jessica works to develop and implement policy and programs to support strategic objectives for resource recovery and promoting the circular economy in South Australia. Working across policy areas covering food and organic waste, single-use plastics policy, packaging and events, Jessica led the development of the food waste strategy for South Australia to drive this material away from landfill and circulate it into productive use.
