Support queer and trans artists! Our performers are paid through ticket sales and tips. For many of us, the pay we receive ensures that we're able to make ends meet every month. Often, we break even or even lose money because it goes right back into improving our drag and the audience experience. Though we are fortunate in Colorado not to have any current legislative drag ban in place, we are still feeling the effects, especially in conservative Weld County, with fewer venues being open to hosting drag shows due to the fear that it will be bad for business. High Plains Library District even canceled their Pride event this year due to their own Board-approved drag ban, citing that they did not want to lose funding as one of their reasons for the cancellation.
100% of donated funds will go toward increasing performer pay and will be split evenly among the performers. Thank you for supporting queer and trans artists!
