Green Adelaide Volun-touring

Join us for Green Adelaide’s very first volun‑touring adventure, a no‑fuss, all‑organised trip to contribute to environmental restoration in Adelaide. Stop 1 - Tennyson Dunes.

If you’ve been curious about volunteering but unsure where to start, this day is designed just for you. We take care of everything: transport, guidance, tools, gloves, and even lunch. All you need to do is hop on board.

It’s not all hard work either! Along the way we’ll visit sites to learn about local threatened plant conservation projects and hear about efforts to rewild the iconic Painted Dragon lizard.

Wear appropriate clothing for working outdoors (hat, long pants, long sleeve, and warm/wet weather gear), and closed toe shoes or boots.

Bring a drink bottle, snacks and anything else you will require while out in the elements.

Meet at Adelaide Convention Centre - Coach parking area on North Terrace at 9:00am, bus departs no later than 9:15am and returns 3:30pm.
