Green Careers: Elevator Pitch Workshop
Description
Want to make a stronger impression when meeting new people in the industry? Join us for an in-person workshop to sharpen your elevator pitch and learn how to confidently communicate who you are, what you do, and what you bring to the table.
We’ll kick things off with a short presentation on best practices for crafting an effective elevator pitch, followed by an interactive session where you’ll practice your pitch and receive constructive, personalized feedback. You’ll also have the opportunity to hear and provide feedback on others’ pitches, helping you build your communication skills while expanding your network.
Whether you’re an emerging professional looking to introduce yourself with confidence or an established professional looking to refine how you communicate your experience and expertise, you’ll leave with a stronger pitch and new connections. Come prepared to participate by sharing your elevator pitch and offering thoughtful feedback to others.
The workshop will be led by Andy Padian, Sr. Director of Building Science, Association for Energy Affordability.
