Whether you came along to a session, spoke, volunteered, or simply followed the buzz from afar, join us for a relaxed Green Drinks to wrap up Wao Summit 2026: Resilience in Action.

It’s a chance to reflect on what we’ve learnt, share the moments that stuck with you, catch up with familiar faces and meet some new ones. The Summit gave us plenty to think about. Now let’s talk about what comes next, and how we keep building the Wao community together.

We’ll also hear from Charlotte Muschamp of Alki Architecture + Design Studio, winner of this year’s Architecture and Design New Zealand Supreme Award and the first woman in New Zealand to take it out. Charlotte will share the story behind The Yakisugi Cabin, the home she designed and built with her partner Stefan, followed by a conversation about the thinking behind this compact, low-impact home. Wao was delighted to feature the Cabin at this year’s Better Building Day, and is pleased to bring Charlotte’s story back to the community at our latest Green Drinks.
