Green Drinks - Sustainability Beyond the Headlines
Description
This month, Green Drinks welcomes Chris Thomson, founder of Glopac NZ, for an honest conversation about what actually makes a difference in sustainability.
Sustainability is full of big claims, certifications, media campaigns and well-intentioned initiatives, but how do we know what is really working? Chris will share his personal journey of challenging conventional thinking in the packaging industry and advocating for practical, measurable environmental outcomes. The discussion will explore the difference between what sounds sustainable and what delivers real-world results, touching on compostability, recyclability, plastic-free alternatives, greenwashing, certification, and the importance of asking tough questions.
Expect an interactive, opinionated conversation that challenges assumptions and encourages robust debate.
