Green Drinks - Voices for tomorrow: Activating future generations conversations
Event description
The future of intergenerational wellbeing is at a pivotal moment, with growing global momentum to protect the rights and interests of future generations. At the heart of this movement is the UN Declaration for Future Generations—a catalyst for deep and meaningful conversations about long-term thinking, sustainability, and systemic change.
Join Cheryl Doig, a futurist, weaver, and connector known as the #futuresaunty, for an inspiring and futures-focused talk. Cheryl will explore how the Declaration is shaping conversations around the world and what it means for Aotearoa New Zealand—especially within our local context in Ōtautahi. She will guide attendees through thought-provoking ideas about how we can take tangible action to co-create a future where the wellbeings of both current and future generations are respected, upheld, and celebrated.
