Green Heron Album Release Show - Reuben Greenspun Quartet

Seattle drummer and composer Reuben Greenspun is bursting onto the Seattle jazz scene with the release of his debut album Green Heron. Green Heron features tight grooves, swinging solos, and catchy but complex compositions. Featuring an all-star band of Aytan Sternberg, Gavin Bunbury, and Theo McGaughey, Green Heron takes a contemporary approach to jazz while still being deeply rooted in Bebop. Members of the Reuben Greenspun Quartet have had the honor of participating in the Carnegie Hall National Youth Orchestra for Jazz; performing with local legends like Tom Marriott, and Jay Thomas; and being awarded for outstanding musicianship at the Essentially Ellington jazz festival.

The Reuben Greenspun Quartet will premier their album release show at Seattle's own Black and Tan Hall. In addition to performing the album, the band will bring their unique spin to classic standards and original compositions.
