Event description

Do you want to contribute to sustainable action on campus?

Drop in for a coffee (on us!) with UMSU Enviro and the University's Sustainability Delivery Team to learn about how you can get involved in sustainable change.

Discover the Green Impact program for students including student club certifications, the individual & teams toolkits and opportunities to be recognised at the annual Sustainability Awards.

You can also find out about the Sustainability Volunteer and UMSU Enviro Volunteering programs where you can earn a Sustainability Advocacy Melbourne Plus credential.

Join us for a free coffee (BYO cup or dine-in only), sustainable prizes and the opportunity to meet likeminded change makers!

By participating, you can complete the following Green Impact toolkit actions (teams/individuals):

    • UOM016/UOM-I08: Attend an event run by the Sustainability Team
    • UOM028/UOM-I67: You regularly purchase takeaway drinks in a reusable coffee cup

About Green Impact

As the University's largest sustainability behaviour change program, Green Impact is a fun and flexible way for likeminded staff & students to learn from each other, undertake practical sustainability actions, attend fun events and be recognised at our annual awards ceremony. The actions are tailored to the University of Melbourne with actions for office, lab, retailer, student club and student teams.

Students who participate can also receive a Melbourne Plus Sustainability Advocacy credential and have the option to join the individuals toolkit to complete actions flexibly.

Please contact sustainable-campus@unimelb.edu.au if you have any questions or accessibility requirements.
