Event description

Let us introduce our new partnership with Slogue — an initiative bringing regular public sewing circles to the Inner West Sustainability Hub’s shared education space.

You’re invited to a relaxed, hands-on circle where you can bring your own project and be guided by young fashion creatives to mend a tear, adjust a fit, sew on a button, fix a zip, or even completely re-fashion a favourite piece.

Both beginners and experienced sewers are welcome — it’s a friendly space to repair, re-wear, refresh and share skills while reconnecting with the simple joy of making.

Join us as we weave a Sydney-wide movement to flip fashion from consumption to creativity.

 What to Bring:

· Clothes that need small repairs (loose buttons, frays, stains, tears)

· Or a piece you’d like to customise or re-style

What We Provide:

· Needles, threads, scraps, yarns & notions

· Free materials

· Friendly youth mentors & creative ideas galore
