French Style in Savannah: Croissants, Conversation, and Chez Ninon at the Green-Meldrim House

Join us for a continental breakfast and discussion of Chez Ninon, the legendary fashion house, owned and operated by Sophie Meldrim Shonnard, who grew up in the home, and Nona McAdoo Park.  Their approved copies of Paris originals were successful and fashionable making Sophie and Nona style arbiters of the 20th century. Several ensembles worn by Jacqueline Kennedy while First Lady will be highlighted.

Tours will trace the home’s design lineage: from its architectural roots born in medieval France and the lavish Rococo Revival interiors that originally adorned its halls, to the striking prose of celebrated French/American authors Julian and Anne Green—grandchildren of the original estate.
