Green Week Photo Competition 2026
Description
The Green Week Photo Competition is back for 2026! We're looking for the best photo around this year's theme:
Theme: Nature's Secrets: Hidden worlds beneath the surface
The natural world hides complex and beautiful scenes around every corner. This year, capture the ecosystems, patterns, and worlds that live just out of view. From the fungal artwork hiding in the caps of mushrooms, to a bird carefully carving a nest out in the city, give us a glimpse beneath the surface. We want to see what you can capture without disrupting these precious worlds- nature reveals them fleetingly, and we must protect them. Whether it's from the forest floor or a corner of our campus, share a moment that reminds us how intricate our world really is.
The competition is open to all UTS students, staff, and alumni, as well as UTS College students. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Besides bragging rights, you could score yourself a $150 voucher for taking out first prize. So, get snapping, or dig into your own photo archives and submit your either your best photos.
Prizes up for grabs:
1st Place - $150 Coles/Myer voucher
2nd Place - $100 Coles/Myer voucher
People’s Choice Award - $50 Coles/Myer voucher
