Enhancing farm dams for stock and biodiversity: Develop a plan for your farm dam
Join wetland ecologist David Carew to learn about enhancing your own farm dam to increase biodiversity and farm productivity.
At this workshop you will get started on a management plan to improve a dam on your farm. Topics covered will include fencing, plant species selection and monitoring.
Louise Kerferd (Melbourne Water) will share a case study on a previous dam enhancement project, and the day will wrap up with a farm walk to hear from the farmer and view the results and changes.
