His debut solo gig will feature a mixture of acoustic and electric songs. The songs will be composed by a range of artists, creating a relaxed but engaging atmosphere, drawing sonic inspiration from Radiohead and The Smiths.
Ymi! - Support
Ymi! is an optimistic and gentle yet confrontational artist based in Melbourne who performs original music in the vein of indie folk through to industrial dance rock. She is known for the whiplash between her devastating Nick Drake and Bon Iver inspired ballads and intoxicatingly danceable upbeat tunes. The set is amplified by Ymi!'s band of passionate and skilled composers, who blend her ethereal vocals with dark, brooding textures that tie together a diverse and engaging set.
