GrenacheFest 2026
Description
South Australia has quietly become one of the best places on earth to drink Grenache, and GrenacheFest is your chance to prove it to yourself, glass by glass. From old, gnarled Barossa and McLaren Vale vines to newer producers pushing the grape in exciting new directions, this is a genuine opportunity to taste some seriously world-class wine, made by the people standing right in front of you pouring it.
Hosted by Adelaide Wine Markets at the buzzing Market Shed on Holland, GrenacheFest is one night, one grape, done properly. Forget sprawling wine shows where you're rushed past a hundred stalls — this is a tightly curated lineup of small and boutique producers, each with a story to tell and a glass worth lingering over. Elegant and savoury, bold and jammy, everything in between — you'll taste the full spectrum of what Grenache can be, and get to ask the winemakers exactly how they got there.
Grab a glass, wander the room, and strike up a conversation — the people who made your favourite pour of the night are right there, happy to talk soil, vintage, and everything in between. Add live music and great local food into the mix, and you've got a night that's as much fun as it is genuinely educational.
Come thirsty, come curious — GrenacheFest 2026 is your excuse to fall properly in love with South Australian Grenache.
