Event description

The Grey Fergie was manufactured between 1946 and 1959. It is technically a TE 20 Ferguson. They’re grey because it was the cheapest colour to produce post WWII. The muster seeks to celebrate the important role it has played in our agricultural history.

DAY 1 (D): PORT MACQUARIE TO TAMWORTH      Thu 20 March 25

Welcome to our 4-day tour of the Grey Fergie Tractor Muster. Once our morning pickups are complete, we travel through Wauchope and Bendemeer, where we return here tomorrow for the festival, to Tamworth. We have time at leisure to purchase lunch before this afternoon we visit the Tamworth Power Station Museum. Power is important to Tamworth’s history as it became the first city in Australia to be lit by municipal electric street lighting. Here we explore the history of innovation and the important role electricity plays in our everyday lives at Australia’s only dedicated electrical museum.
