Grief & Joy: A Movement & Expressive Arts Workshop
Description
As summer winds down and September brings a seasonal shift, we enter a natural time of transition, reflection, and reset. But when the world expects us to jump seamlessly into the next season, it can be easy to push our losses, changes, and heavy feelings aside. Distracting ourselves doesn't make the weight go away—it just forces us to carry it quietly.
This 3-hour workshop is a dedicated, communal container built to counter that isolation. Facilitated by Danielle, this high-energy, immersive program expands on our framework using deeper movement, tactile expressive arts, and intentional play. This is your permission slip to stop performing, step out of the seasonal noise, and safely get in touch with your grief alongside a community doing the exact same thing.
We aren't here to stay stuck in the dark; we are here to move through it together so you can step into this new season feeling genuinely lighter—not just distracted.
What to Expect:
Somatic Movement: Grounding practices to release stored tension in the body.
Tactile Expressive Arts: Creative, hands-on activities to explore and externalize grief.
Intentional Play & Connection: A supportive, communal environment designed to rebuild joy alongside loss.
How to Join:
Sessions are held by appointment for small groups. To ensure an intimate, safe, and highly collaborative atmosphere, space for each session is strictly limited.
