Thinking of applying for Ground Zero program or planning on putting in an application?

Come to our Open Venue.

Check out where group rehearsal and performances will happen and meet the Brand X staff for a chat about the program. Any and all questions welcome. This is a relaxed, informal event.

Venue Accessibility Information

The venue is wheelchair accessible, with accessible car spaces available out the front on Burton Street.

There's one gender-neutral accessible bathroom including a shower. It is a single stall bathroom, with a sanitary bin.

Assistance animals are welcome, and drinking water is available.

A large sliding glass door is at the street entrance to ESCAC measuring 1.6 metres wide x 3.5 metres high.
ESCAC has one lift which provides access to all levels. The internal measurements of the lift are 1.3 metres wide by 1.7 metres deep and is weighted at 1000kgs. The doorway to enter the lift is 90cm wide.
In addition to the lift, there are stairs between floors with handrails and non slip stair nosing.
Rehearsal space double doors measure 1.7 metres wide x 1.9 metres high.
Doors entering the kitchenette measure 83 centimetres wide x 2.08 metres high

Getting to ESCAC

34-40 BURTON ST, DARLINGHURST, NSW 2010

ESCAC is a 2-storey building on the corner of Burton and Palmer streets, across the road from Eternity Playhouse.

ESCAC is closely located to public transport: 650m from Museum train station is 650m ; and a 180m steep downhill on Palmer Street from buses stopping on Oxford Street.

There are accessible car spaces available out the front of ESCAC. All other parking is metered, with a 2 hour limit. For longer term parking, there is Wilson Car Park on Riley Street or The Domain.
