Description
GROUNDED - A shared experience of movement, sound and human connection
GROUNDED is an intimate three-hour gathering created by Kayur Kotecha and Alexander Alma.
Through guided awareness, accessible movement, immersive sound and deep rest, we’ll create space to slow down, become more attentive to our own experience and connect with others without pressure or performance.
Everything is invitational. You may adapt, pause, observe or step outside at any time.
The afternoon
12.45 pm: Doors open.
1.00–1.15 pm: We’ll begin with a personal welcome, settle into the circle and introduce the afternoon.
1.15–2.00 pm: Choice-led connection practices.
2.00–2.45 pm: Guided meditation will lead into accessible solo movement exploring sensation, rhythm and space. The movement will gradually become freer and more intuitive, shaped by Alexander’s music and sound. This part of the afternoon will conclude with an optional partnered exploration or quiet individual practice.
2.45–3.30 pm: Movement will give way to an extended sound immersion and deep rest, followed by silence, a gradual return.
3.30–4.00 pm: We’ll finish with chai, seasonal fruit and relaxed conversation.
Who is it for?
GROUNDED is for adults who value genuine presence and are curious about connection through movement, sound, stillness and shared experience.
No previous experience of yoga, meditation or dance is required. Partnered activities are optional, with a non-contact or individual alternative available.
GROUNDED is a general wellbeing and community experience. It is not a clinical, therapeutic or trauma-processing programme.
