TEC Group Gardening Sessions

At Tairāwhiti Environment Centre, we work with a wide range of the community across  Tairāwhiti, supporting grassroots initiatives, various projects and activities around taiao, community resilience and waste minimisation.

The community garden is shared space for learning about fresh kai and organic resources. We have a wide variety of visitors, young and old, to the garden and our hope is to have a well-functioning demonstration and teaching garden that consistently has fresh kai available.

We always need help in the garden to keep it safe and producing, so come work alongside us, build garden skills, while you help the TEC Community Garden garden thrive.
