Event description

monochord and gongs from one of Jacqui’s events
Nuture and sonic bliss

You are warmly invited on the last Thursday of the month to journey with us into deep relaxation meditation led by a soothing soundscape offering you a chance to reconnect to the inner most parts of yourself in a supportive and inclusive Group sound meditation.

The sounds presented will relate to the heart space and upper body chakras with a focus on resetting your nervous system out of ‘fight and flight’ and into ‘rest and digest’ for ultimate healing of mind, body and soul.

Jacqui will open most sessions with her voice and then take you on a gentle journey including the Peter Hess Singing Bowls, crystal quartz bowls (not loud), deep low resonant tones of Fen gongs followed by monochord with the sweet sounds of the Koshi, rainstick, toning with Jacqui’s voice and other percussive instruments played with care and intention.

When gentle sounds are offered during relaxation the mind attaches to the sound and is able to drop more deeper into stillness than when there is silence.

This Sound Bath is about arriving, connecting to yourself, feeling supported, nurtured & held so you can rest (deeply), surrender your body & your mind to release whatever you need to at that exact moment. The Sound Journey is designed to calm the mind & body. There are no loud sounds or drums near your body. Silence is as important as the sound.

This Sound Bath is like the 'Yin' & 'Resorative' style in the wide range of Sound Bath offerings. The Sound is presented therapeutically.

Every month Jacqui will bring in a different focus and combine a story, meditation, song, yoga Nidra or Pranayama to deepen the therapeutic Nature of this experience.

You are welcome to arrive at 6.15 to the Peregian Beach community hall to connect and settle into your spot. The door will be locked at 6.30pm to avoid disruptions to the sound.

Some yoga mats and eye pillows are provided but please bring blanket, pillow, socks or anything you need for your comfort.  Many times people come in their pj’s to go home and jump straight into bed and sleep like a baby.

Please get in touch if you have a pace maker or metal implants prior to the sessions.

Any other questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch 0408313545,

Much love, Jacqui x
