Frequently asked questions
Does group supervision count towards ACA's supervision hours
Yes, group supervision can count towards the supervision hours required by the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). However, there are specific conditions and limits on how many of these hours can be accrued through group supervision. From our understanding, you can claim 2 hours per month.
Are the groups more like a friendly chat, or are they productive?
Group supervision sessions at Replenish Counselling and Training are designed to be both productive and supportive. We focus on professional development through case discussions, constructive feedback, skill enhancement, and addressing ethical considerations.
What are closed groups, and what happens after the 4 sessions are done?
Our groups are closed, with the same members participating mainly. This format allows for deeper relationships and trust to develop among group members, fostering a more cohesive and supportive environment. After the initial four sessions, you are invited to continue participating thereafter.
