About the counsellor, Seka
I am a counsellor with a background in community work and education. I have experience with DV organisations and counselling women who have undergone serious trauma. I have also been a Youth Justice Conference Convenor - this requires the ability to listen to all parties and facilitate respectful communication. Not least of all, almost two decades of working with refugees and migrants has given me a compassionate approach to break through communication and cultural barriers. I have facilitated conscious dance and personal development retreats for many years. I enjoy creating my own music and I am also a comedy improviser! I am comfortable diving into the depths of difficult emotions, while helping people see the lighter side of life.
You are welcome to message me in advance to ask questions and check if this group is right for you.
