Event description

Help Shape a New Grassroots Resource for Group Work with Survivors of Sexual Violence

WorkUP Qld has partnered with Heartwork to gather evidence on best practice and collaborative design principles—and we want to hear from both advanced and emerging practitioners.

Join us to co-design a fresh, contemporary resource—we want your voice in the mix. We're especially keen to collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, women working with non-English-speaking communities, refugee women, feminist, queer communities, and services supporting women with disabilities (e.g. WWILD).

 Join a consultation session:

  • Tuesday 8 July, 2025 – 10:00–11:00am

  • Wednesday 9 July, 2025 – 1:00–2:00pm

Can’t make it? Reach out to Isla Swan at WorkUP:

 📧 isla.swan@healingfoundation.org.au

This new resource will support:

  • Those new to the sexual violence sector

  • Practitioners seeking a refresher in group work

  • Anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of group work with survivors

It will build on WorkUP Queensland’s Foundation Skills for Sexual Violence and align with the Queensland Sector Induction program.  We’d love to hear from you!
