'Grow Coastal' Propagation Workshop Day 1
Event description
Ever wanted to learn how to collect and grow your own seeds?
Come to the first of our propagation workshops to learn seed collecting and processing, germination preparation techniques, container selection, preferred growing media composition, and how to create the ideal propagation environment for seeds to germinate.
This is a hands-on workshop where all skill levels and knowledge are welcome. All materials supplied.
After the workshop, we will enjoy a shared lunch, which will be a vegetarian, creative, and seasonal reflection of place-grown ingredients.
*Please note that this workshop is the first in a two-part series on propagating local coastal species. Day 2 will be held on Sunday 9 November, 9am to 1pm at The Place of Wonder. Attendees are asked to register for and attend both days - with a free propagation guide and binder to take home at the end of Day 2 if you've come along to both.
