Description

Grow with the Flow is a new way of carving out space for yourself, from January to June 2027

We'll gather on the second Sunday each month from 10-12pm, in the sanctuary of the studio at Empower Health Club, for experimenting with plant play as you care for your very own succulent, alongside some care for yourself with practices like yoga, myofascial release, acupressure, Yin, and sound-led rest.

Grow with the Flow supports you to commit to showing up for yourself and your plant from the new year through to our final workshop in June, where we'll connect over food freshly harvested at Colebrooke Kitchen Garden and share cuttings from the plants we've nurtured over our six months together.

There's play with plants, even for those of us who are usually awful with them, as there's support and tailored advice each month from Shelby of The Succulent Trades.

For a dose of physical care, there's something different on the menu each month from therapist and yoga teacher Holly from discover:develop.

Join the community for some support and a bit of craic as you look after yourself.

To secure your space you can pay in full upfront or with a payment plan, which works out at £40 for each workshop.

Book before Halloween with an upfront payment to add the treat of a gift kit with tools to help bring your workshops back home.

January

In our first session together, we'll care for the sense of expectation that can come with the start of a new year, while respecting that it's also still a season of hibernation and energy directed below ground and behind the scenes.

You'll be matched with your ideal succulent, and start with a cutting to root in and welcome. For the body, it's a dose of grounding with the deep release of a floor-based Yin practice.

February

As we reach late winter, we'll lean into curiosity to help with the fatigue that can show up as we tire of the cold and dark, and while change is still at the rooting down stage, and often happening out of sight.

There will be sensory play, exploring use of essential oils, and tools for you to take home, alongside checking on the cuttings and how they are doing as they settle in.

March

First signs of spring growth and it's a good time to explore the stability that's been created, with all that potential now for growth up at the surface where it's easier to see.

We'll check on our cuttings' growth and how their space is serving them, while also considering our own stability, and space to live in, through a gentle yoga practice making use of secure foundations, to be able to play with expansiveness and balance.

April

As April growth hits that burst of momentum, we'll pay attention to growth spurts and growing pains, and the discomfort that can come with growth and change, even the kinds we like and want.

There's a myofascial release practice, using tools to discover and untangle tightness in the tissues, and the plant babies get a check-in to look after any thriving or worries, ready for the next stages of change.

May

After five months of rooting down and stretching outwards, we'll settle into a pause and some of that steadiness that comes with well established foundations, tuning into all the different personalities and journeys of the succulents, and of a whole range of sounds in a sensory workshop playing with Tibetan & Japanese brass bells, quartz bowls, gongs and more.

June

At the end of our six months of gathering, we'll celebrate with a change of venue and a shift into a tone of harvest. Getting together at Colebrooke Kitchen Garden, we'll share food made from the fresh produce, and share cuttings from each of our plants. Getting to see how they've each grown over the six months, and as we finish up, getting to bring home some new skills and new plants to nurture.

As this is a six-month incubator, there is no drop-in booking option. So we benefit from a group of us together, committing some time for ourselves and with each other.

Join the community for some support and a bit of craic as you look after yourself.

To secure your space you can pay the £240 in full upfront or with a payment plan.

& with your fee, 100% of Humanitix profits go to charity projects.

We're really looking forward to welcoming everyone into this special space, where small as well as big things may germinate.

See you in January!
